Many families ask whether Seven Stars follows Montessori or Reggio Emilia.
We don’t follow one educational philosophy. Instead, the Seven Stars Approach™ draws on research, experience and strong ideas from different early childhood traditions.
Like Montessori, we value independence, practical life skills and children doing more for themselves.
Like Reggio Emilia, we value children’s curiosity, ideas and voices, with educators listening, questioning and extending their thinking.

Our 2026 daily fees are:
Tiny Stars (0–2 years): $150 per day
Little Stars (2–3 years): $144 per day
Super Stars (3–5 years): $140 per day
Eligible families may receive Child Care Subsidy (CCS) to reduce out-of-pocket costs.
Fees include meals, nappies and all Seven Stars programs.
Yes. Seven Stars is an approved long day care service, and eligible families can use the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) to reduce their childcare fees.
Your out-of-pocket cost depends on your family’s individual CCS entitlement, including your subsidy percentage and subsidised hours.

Yes. Seven Stars participates in the NSW Start Strong program, which provides fee relief for eligible preschool-aged children attending long day care.
Start Strong fee relief is separate from the Child Care Subsidy (CCS), so eligible families may benefit from both.
The amount depends on your child’s eligibility. Our team can explain how the fee relief will be applied to your account.
Yes. Our daily fees include nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day, as well as nappies for children who need them.
All meat served at Seven Stars is halal, and vegetarian options are also available.
Mealtimes are also part of learning. Children are encouraged to serve food, use tongs, prepare simple foods and help clean up — building independence and practical life skills through everyday routines.
We encourage children to do as much as they can for themselves — from managing belongings and serving food to making choices, solving small problems and helping with everyday routines.
Educators guide and support rather than automatically stepping in. We notice children’s efforts, positively encourage them and celebrate their successes, helping them gradually build confidence, responsibility and practical life skills.
Our team includes qualified Early Childhood Teachers, Diploma and Certificate III educators.
At Seven Stars, educators are expected to know each child as an individual — how they communicate, what interests them, what challenges them and what they may be ready to learn next.
Through everyday conversations, play and routines, educators build trust, support independence and extend children’s thinking.
