Developmental Screener By Allied Health Professionals
Dear Parent/Carer,
Does your child have difficulty in one of the following areas:
- Communicating with their family, friends, or teachers?
- Does your child have trouble following instructions?
- Is it hard for strangers to understand what your child is saying or does your child have difficulty with some speech sounds?
- Behaviours of concern or habits that need to be redirected.
- Difficulty with building new routine behaviours that need to be developed.
- Difficulty with emotional regulation skills or developing productive coping strategies?
- Difficulty with socialising with other children?
- Difficulty with holding on to different objects?
- Difficulty holding a pencil?
- Difficulty performing self-care tasks independently?
We are excited to announce that Seven Stars Early Learning Centre & Preschool has partnered with Step2Life to host an in-house screening session for our current children. This session is designed to support your child’s development and well-being by identifying any areas where additional support or enrichment may be beneficial.
We are also pleased to share that this screening opportunity is being extended to outside children (e.g., siblings, friends, or children from the community). If you know someone who might benefit from this session, please feel free to share this news with them!
About Steps2Life
Steps2Life specialises in the assessment and management of children’s speech, voice, and language concerns (speech therapy), behaviours of concern (behaviour therapy), and fine motor, motor coordination, self-care and emotional regulation (occupational therapy).
